Round Table Discussion: Is Your Marketing Bringing the Best ROI?

4 November 2021, 14:00 - 16:30

Brewin Dolphin, Time central, 32 Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4SR

Keeping hold of the marketing budget is sometimes a difficult job and 2020 continued to prove it’s the first area to get cut or reduced when something needs to give.

Even without times of uncertainty it’s often an uphill battle for many when asking for more resource. The big question is why?

It’s widely proven that marketing is the driver for growth and when done right ROI far exceeds the outlay, but how do you prove the value of marketing to your board and make those conversations about budgets way easier. As entrepreneurs, how do you know what’s working and where to invest more?

In our round table discussion led by Kirsty Ramsey, BD and Marketing Director at O, we will explore how you can take your marketing ROI to the next level, tell a new story with data and consistently place marketing in positive board discussions.

In particular we’ll focus on new ways to measure marketing and comms ROI and why the old formulas don’t quite cut it, how to measure marketing at every stage against business objectives and how to benchmark against your competitors to know what success looks like in 2021 and beyond.

Data is transforming every decision we make and there is so much more marketers can do to show the value of ideas, campaigns and creativity to business bottom line.

Our round tables are shaped by your views and experience, so while we hope to cover the topics above, we may discuss other subjects related to measurement during the session.
