Dragon Boat Race

After the overwhelming success of last year, we have secured a boat for the annual Dragon Boat Race which takes place on the Newcastle Quayside.

All those involved in last year's team had an absolute blast and we're looking for a new team of adventurous entrepreneurs to take up their paddles this year. It is a fun filled day with fantastic opportunity for our members to network with each whilst getting competitive on the water and raising a few quid for our chosen charity, CHUF.

Therefore we are looking for fun loving entrepreneurs to come and make up a team of 16 (plus a drummer) on Saturday 30th September.   No experience is necessary. 

It promises to be an exciting day and with lots of activities happening on the quayside (face painting/lantern building) so why not invite your friends and family down to cheer you on.

The Small Print - All participants are required to make a payment of £50 which includes a charity donation to CHUF. 

The Children’s Heart Unit Fund support children and their families who receive treatment at the Freeman Hospital and many other hospitals providing care for cardiac patients in the north of England. The money raised will help CHUF to fund holistic services such as the Clown Doctor programme. These specialist play therapists and performers are a lifeline for families who are stuck on the ward for long periods of time; they can aide speedier recoveries, tackle isolation, build children’s confidence and help raise smiles all round during the darkest moments.

Unfortunately, we are unable to reimburse the cost of your ticket if cancelled after Friday 15th September.
