Round Table Discussion: Scaling Beyond Frontiers

With Steven Rawlingson, Samuel Knight International

18 April 2023, 14:00 - 16:30

LDC, 50 Grey Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 6AE

The headwinds of the past year are by no means over; supply chain disruptions, labour shortages, inflation and economic uncertainty persist, driving consumers to adjust their behaviour in fundamental and perhaps permanent ways.

Despite this, SMEs have an advantage, being in a unique position to diversify their offering and revaluate the ways they can take advantage of emerging markets, both in the UK and worldwide.

Hosted by our Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year 2022, Steven Rawlingson of Samuel Knight International, this round table discussion will give an environment to explore these upcoming opportunities and challenges with your peers.

We’ll focus on how to identify and get started in new markets whilst sharing tips for expanding internationally too, arming you with the knowledge and insight to make informed decisions about your business strategy for the coming year. Entrepreneurs with experience in these topics are also invited to come along and share their advice with the group.

Our round tables are shaped by your views and experience, so while we hope to cover the topics above, we may discuss other subjects related to scaling and exporting during the session.
