Justin Urquhart Stewart makes his return to the North East to host an exclusive focus dinner for members of the Forum. This is a great opportunity to join like-minded business owners and an enthusiastic champion of the British economy for analysis and insightful commentary on a host of pressing issues.
Justin’s early career spanned the vineyards of Europe, the docks of Southampton and offices in Singapore, before he returned to the UK in the 1980s where he was involved in the development of Big Bang in 1986 with BZW. From this he, with others, went on to found Broker Services which eventually went on to become Barclays Stockbrokers.
Then, in 2001, Justin and his business partner set up Seven Investment Management (7IM) which now manages and administers around £14 billion on behalf of professional financial wealth managers and intermediaries.
Retiring from 7IM in 2019, Justin and Jim Odell then launched Regionally, an investment service and platform that aims to brings together regional business with regional global private investors, thereby allowing vetted companies access to private capital and helping to play a key role in supporting levelling up in the UK and scaling regional UK SMEs as they scale-up.
Justin’s experience, talent and passion for investment management has led him to become one of the most recognised market commentators in recent times. Often appearing on TV, the radio and in the press, he is instantly recognisable for his trademark red braces and tie.
The small print - This event is exclusively for entrepreneurial members of the Forum and costs £75+VAT for a three-course meal, payable in advance.
