Greener Solutions Group Awarded Retrofit Coordinator Role for The North East

Greener Solutions Group are proud to be awarded the Retrofit Coordinator role for dwellings in the North East of England.



Working in conjunction with Kirsty Tweddell and Tim Wood of ENGIE Regeneration North on the Gentoo RISE project.

The PAS 2035 Retrofit scheme aims to decrease carbon emissions and increase the energy efficiency of the dwellings.

Matt Hetherington, Head of Sustainability and Energy Solutions at Greener Solutions Group “We are very excited to start work on this project and we will ensure accurate delivery and execution. At the same time, we are extremely pleased to be collaborating with Engie Regeneration North on this Gentoo RISE Project. Together we are creating a more sustainable and low carbon housing stock in the North East of England.

Tim Wood, Head of Sustainability at ENGIE, said: “We are delighted to be working alongside Greener Solutions Group on the innovative RISE Project, alongside Gentoo. We are passionate about boosting the local green economy and working with Greener Solutions Group, based in Newcastle, is a great example of increasing our local supply chain and utilising regional talent. ENGIE is committed to making a Zero Carbon future happen for everyone, and this scheme is a key part of demonstrating innovation measures to improve the sustainability of the UK’s housing stock.”
