Frequently Asked Questions

Successful applicants will receive one year’s Entrepreneurs’ Forum membership giving you access to up to 70 events per annum and the opportunity to take part in our peer to peer mentoring programme too. This gives you the opportunity to tap directly into the experience of some of the most successful entrepreneurs in our region.

You can apply for the Foundation by completing an application form available here.

Please note: Successful applicants must be the founder of a business which has incorporated in the past 3 years. They should be trading and able to demonstrate they have a credible business plan to achieve future turnover in excess of £250,000.

You will also need to meet with one of our team to talk about your ambitions for your business.

We aim to notify you within 2 weeks of receiving your application.

This depends on the supporters. Some are happy to support all sectors, others are specific to the type of business start-ups they wish to donate towards. Please refer to our main Foundation page for more details on the current start-ups we are supporting.

We are interested in talking to anyone who would like to become a supporter of the Foundation. Donations can be made to support 1 or many emerging entrepreneurs and can be tailored to fit your individual objectives or goals. Contact Elaine Stroud via email or phone 0191 500 7780 to find out more.

We hope to support up to 20 entrepreneurs per annum through our Foundation.

All successful applicants will need to follow the terms and conditions of entrepreneurial membership. Bursary recipients are expected to play an active role in the Forum by attending events and meeting an entrepreneurial mentor during their 12 months of funded membership. After all, the Forum can only offer the platform to help you to succeed – you will need to invest in yourself to progress your own journey.
