Neil has spent over 30 years working in Financial Services for large corporate organisations such as Allianz and Towergate.

In 2014 he set up his own insurance broking business in Newcastle growing this successfully to become one of the largest brokers in the North East. In 2020 as part of a private equity backed management buy in backed by PE firm Synova Capital Neil rolled his business into a wider group of companies and became a part of the Group board.

The day to day operation of the original business is now under the stewardship of a new MD and Neil works as a Group Director involved in managing a number of the businesses across the UK as well active involvement in acquisition and integration of new business. As of 2021 the Group has a turnover of £15 million and 160 staff which is 100% growth on the previous year. The aspiration is to grow this to £50 million turnover by 2025 through continuing strong organic growth and acquiring complimentary businesses.
