CoFounder and CFO at Blu Sky Chartered Accountants, an award winning accountancy practice. I am a strong believer that a scaling business's finance team should be a founder's most important ally when growing their business.

My career as an accountant started with Arthur Andersen where I gained experience of working with a variety of clients and met some great and wonderful people. Following the demise of Arthur Andersen (nothing to do with me I must add!!), I joined Deloitte as an Audit Manager where I had responsibilty for delivering a full range of audit services, business process advice and assurance to growing medium sized and FTSE 100 firms across the UK.

After working in the Big Four for six years I decided it was time to leave practice and see what was going on in the real world!!! So to get this new perspective I ventured into the Financial Service Sector, working for Aviva, GE Money and Santander.

In 2009 I cofounded BLU SKY. Our vision is to develop a top 50 practice that is known nationally for delivering value driven, 'top notch' client service and business advice to ambitious high growth businesses.

Having said all of the above though the biggest compliment that anyone has ever given me is 'you are not really an accountant are you!'....
