Chris Cook was a 100m swimmer in a 50m pool. He had a very simple job, to swim two lengths as quickly as he could; and once he understood this in the simplest possible terms, he became incredibly effective.
He went on to become British and Commonwealth record holder, double Commonwealth champion, Olympic finalist, European and World championship medalist and the first British swimmer to go under 60 seconds for 100m breaststroke.
