Prestigious panel success for Ward Hadaway

Ward Hadaway has been appointed as an awarded supplier to the Intellectual Property Rights Services framework by the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium for the first time.

The eight-strong team at the Top 100 law firm, which has offices in Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester, was appointed to the framework for non-patentable IPR services following a competitive tender process.

The framework is available to members of Advanced Procurement Universities and Colleges (Scotland), High Education Purchasing Consortium for Wales, London Universities Purchasing Consortium, North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium, North West Universities Purchasing Consortium and Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium.

The appointment means that Ward Hadaway can deliver IPR services on a national basis to over 400 organisations that are part of the framework, including a number across the North East. They include the five North East Universities, Durham Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside. The contract, which began on September 1st, will initially be for three years, with an option to extend for a further year.
