Long experience of the property industry along with a desire to offer a personal and local approach to property sales prompted Jan Forster to go solo in 2004.

Since opening its first office in Gosforth, Jan Forster Estates is firmly established with offices also in High Heaton, Low Fell and Tynemouth, as well as a Property Management Centre in Gosforth, which provides administrative and property maintenance support.

Jan Forster Lettings was launched in 2006, specialising in sourcing and providing professional properties throughout the North East.

An ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) qualified company; the team continues to expand the lettings division.

Building further on its success, and in spite of the slow recovery of the property sector, the company’s Tynemouth Marketing Suite, offering a specialist coastal properties service, opened last year when the business also re-branded and launched a new website, all in its distinctive grey and orange livery.

Jan said: “I don’t really know what to expect from the Forum but I am looking forward to being around like-minded people with positive attitudes who are driven to succeed.”
