“There are only two types of companies - those that have been hacked and those that could be.”  Quote from James Lyne, renowned expert on IT security and Director of Technology Strategy at Sophos.

IT security affects every business - and it’s affecting yours right now.

To debate the issues and provide you with impartial knowledge on the most crucial of business subjects, the Entrepreneurs’ Forum in collaboration with Technology Services Group (TSG) invite you to a compelling breakfast open event.

Our speakers include the phenomenally knowledgeable James Lyne who will give you a view of the scale of IT security’s importance, as well as giving an unmissable practical demonstration of how a hacker’s mind really works, and how safe your iPads and mobile devices really are.

Steve Cox, Chief Technology Officer of TSG and who is at the forefront of technology advances, will talk with impressive knowledge about where Microsoft currently are, what they are accelerating such as cloud, and how all of this will affect the way businesses are run. See below to learn more about our guest speakers.

With massive advances in technology and the increase in mobile devices at work, it is vital that every organisation understands how it can mitigate against the increasing IT security threats posed.

Over 70 per cent of major organisations including Facebook, LinkedIn and NatWest have reported significant attempts to break into their networks in the past year, with smaller businesses being attacked on average once a month.

So don’t bury your head in the sand, spare a few hours, and be astonished by both the destruction and paranoia of an issue you can’t avoid.

The UK is under relentless cyber attack and hacking is a big risk to businesses.

The threat is real - the next step is up to you.

We are delighted to have Entrepreneurs' Forum board member and ex CEO of The Sage Group plc, Paul Walker, to facilitate this event for us.

This not to be missed event is the best place to begin your security lock down.

Our hugely popular open events offer knowledge sharing and inspiration. As open events are a benefit of membership and corporate partnership, they are always well attended and a great opportunity to mix with like-minded peers. Attendance for members and partners is included in your package.  Members' guests can attend for £15 +VAT and non-members for £50 +VAT. Payment can be made on-line by click here.
