Even if you do it once a day, once a week, once a month, the Entrepreneurs’ Forum’s sixth Annual Conference presents a unique opportunity to be inspired by the power of six speakers whose experiences will strike a chord and stimulate your thinking (even if it’s just ‘stealing’ a few ideas and applying them to your own situation). And the opportunity to mix with 300 of your peers, run your ideas past them and, simply by being there, make your own public commitment to be bold.

 

Not only is the conference a celebration of entrepreneurship, it captures the essence of what the Entrepreneurs’ Forum is all about – and multiplies it. Headlining our fantastic line-up of the country’s most successful business leaders is Martin Lightbody, current Scottish Entrepreneur of the Year and Chief Executive of Finsbury Food Group, a leader with a proven track record of business growth and innovation.

During this day of entrepreneurial endeavour, we will also hear from an entrepreneur with the Midas touch, Lord Karan Bilimoria of Chelsea - the founder and Chairman of premium lager brand Cobra Beer.

 

Also joining Inspired⁶ will be financial and internet entrepreneur Julie Meyer, CEO of Ariadne Capital and founder of First Tuesday, the largest global network of entrepreneurs.  We are also delighted to have serial entrepreneur Matthew Riley, CEO of Daisy Communications and BOSC Entrepreneur Challenge winner 2008 and business angel and former Dragon’s Den investor Richard Farleigh.

 

Speaking via video link on behalf of the British banking fraternity, will be John Varley, CEO of Barclays Bank to deliver an honest account of the current banking situation.

 

Inspired⁶ will be introduced and facilitated by Guy Browning - cult columnist, author and Director of Smokehouse (yes we’ve brought him back following his successful and hilariously entertaining appearance in May 2008, as conference host).
